Here are the WIP's for the beautiful Friesian. He was such a lovely subject.
The first ugly stage of working out shading. I tend to do very little detail when I do the initial drawings
Again, just working on where the shading goes. I do all of this with graphite powder and paper stumps. I hate cross hatching.
I have skipped a couple of images as it was still doing shading. Now we get to the more serious darkening of the whole thing.
Now we have the body of the horse complete. Just the fluffy bits to go now.
