This is the very beginning of my latest commissions. The hand is that of a surgeon who purchased my painting "Not So Different" and wanted a painting of his hand showing the main difference, a true opposable thumb!

This dear old dog belonged to a friend of my Mum's. I had two really small, very fuzzy photos to work from but she was so happy with the way he came out, she still thanks me every time she sees me.
10 year old Zac is a gorgeous long haired German shepherd. Unfortunately this photo doesn't do the painting justice as I had to take in on my phone camera...sigh!.
